Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2, 2026

HeicGo ("we", "our") operates free browser-based image tools, including the HEIC to JPG converter available at heicgo-ecc.pages.dev. This policy explains what data is — and is not — collected when you use our tools.

1. Your photos and files

We do not collect, store, or transmit your photos. All conversion happens locally in your browser using WebAssembly. When you drop a file into our tools, it is processed by your own device and never uploaded to any server. Closing or reloading the page erases everything.

2. Server logs

Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically records standard technical request data — such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, and timestamp — for security and performance purposes. This data is governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy and is not used to identify individual visitors.

3. Cookies and advertising

We plan to display advertising served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites.

4. Local storage

We use your browser's local storage to remember small preferences such as your theme (light/dark) choice. This data stays on your device and can be removed by clearing your browser storage.

5. Children's privacy

Our tools are general-purpose and do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
